Step 5Remove the sample tubes from the Cord Stick® tray, label with patient information, and arrange for delivery of the samples to the lab. The Cord Stick® barrel should be disposed of in a sharps container. The tray may be discarded with contaminated waste. Do not attempt to reassemble. 
Do not attempt to reassemble Cord Stick® for more compact disposal.
